Derrek and I had THE BEST date night at Palomino a few weeks back. It is a wonderful restaurant/bar downtown Cincinnati over looking fountain square. The view was incredible as Jazz Fest had downtown booming with life. When I added to my Instagram stories sharing that we were at Palomino…my DMs blew up! Everyone shared with me their recommendations and how Palomino is their favorite place to dine!
Where have you guys been? Why did no one tell me about Palomino before? Where have I been? I quickly learned I’ve been living under a rock and totally missing out.
We celebrated Jax’s birthday last month in Springfield, Ohio. Just about an hour and a half North-East from Cincinnati, Springfield is snuggled in between Columbus and Dayton. It’s a quaint little place full of vibrancy.
I spent the day with my mama at the pool. We used to spend so much time together there growing up. As we were laying out the new Backstreet Boys song was playing on the radio. If my 8 year old self knew 20 years later I’d be at the pool with my mom listening to a new Backstreet Boys jam…I’d been like “whatever with a twist!”
Saturday the boys and I got a VIP first look at the New Kings Island Peanuts Celebration. It was A BLAST! The boys were smiling from ear to ear. Derrek and I got to re-live our teenage years. We spent sooo much time at Kings Island together. It has a special place in our hearts and we love sharing it with the kids. They absolutely love Kings Island and everything they had planned for their Peanuts Celebration!
Last week the boys, Derrek, and I headed to Freddy’s for dinner. We were so excited to see Layla of @laylaliving and Heather of @foodhussy! We were invited to the Amelia location to learn about the restaurant and a new surprise coming to the menu. The cat is out of the bag now, or shall I say the curds are out….WHITE CHEDDAR CHEESE CURDS! Now, I’ve never heard of cheese curds before this dinner. We ordered them and fell in love! They were like little perfect, fried cheese balls! So you can’t go wrong with fried cheese…I highly suggest you get them next time you head to Freddy’s! Continue Reading
A few weeks back I was invited to dinner at a new deli in Hamilton. Jax and I hopped in the car and headed over after work. I’m not too familiar with Hamilton, so this area was all new to me. The location of this resturant is beautiful! It’s like a mini-downtown Cincinnati! I will be back for more Alexander’s and to take blog photos (the streets are perfect!)
No need to back your bags. You don’t have to travel far to visit the largest indoor train display in the world! It’s right in Butler County!
Let’s go on a ride through our visit to EnterTRAINment junction last weekend! Continue Reading
