Palomino – Dinner With A View

Derrek and I had THE BEST date night at Palomino a few weeks back. It is a wonderful restaurant/bar downtown Cincinnati over looking fountain square. The view was incredible as Jazz Fest had downtown booming with life. When I added to my Instagram stories sharing that we were at Palomino…my DMs blew up! Everyone shared with me their recommendations and how Palomino is their favorite place to dine!

Where have you guys been? Why did no one tell me about Palomino before? Where have I been? I quickly learned I’ve been living under a rock and totally missing out.

If my 8 year old self knew 20 years later I’d be at the pool with my mom listening to a new Backstreet Boys jam…I’d been like “whatever with a twist!”

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

Last week the boys, Derrek, and I headed to Freddy’s for dinner. We were so excited to see Layla of @laylaliving and Heather of @foodhussy! We were invited to the Amelia location to learn about the restaurant and a new surprise coming to the menu. The cat is out of the bag now, or shall I say the curds are out….WHITE CHEDDAR CHEESE CURDS! Now, I’ve never heard of cheese curds before this dinner. We ordered them and fell in love! They were like little perfect, fried cheese balls! So you can’t go wrong with fried cheese…I highly suggest you get them next time you head to Freddy’s!
