If you follow me on social media – and well here on my blog as well – you know Columbus has really become my second home! Not only do I love the women who live there, they have opened up their arms to me, but I adore the businesses that make visiting a dream!!
Columbus is just about an hour and 45 minutes North of Cincy. It’s an incredible city to escape for the day or the weekend!

I have frequently been asked to share my story & tips/tricks for blogging. This is something I’d absolutely love to share, I love helping others succeed! I have just been so perplexed on how to even cover this topic. I have always felt as if I wasn’t qualified to talk about it, like I had to “make it” before I could give advice. I thought I wasn’t aloud to write about “how to blog” until I had a certain amount of followers, sponsored by the best, received killer PR packages, paid off my debt, quit my day job, moved into a nicer house, drove a nicer car, went on lavish trips, etc.
We celebrated Jax’s birthday last month in Springfield, Ohio. Just about an hour and a half North-East from Cincinnati, Springfield is snuggled in between Columbus and Dayton. It’s a quaint little place full of vibrancy.
The first time I visited Columbus I drove past The Book Loft. My first thought was, “My mom would die and go to heaven in there!” The Book Loft is an independent book store located in Columbus with THIRTY TWO rooms FULL of books!
Okay, so it’s been a few months since my visit to Flowers & Bread…but I could not forget to share this Columbus gem with you all! You just blink an eyelash extension and months go by! BUT I promise a visit to Flowers & Bread will be a place for you to put a pause on life and enjoy the beauty in the details.
Six months ago the hubs and I planned to participate in the Run to Erase Epilepsy 5k. It was being held in Columbus, Ohio so we decided to plan a weekend getaway!
