Palomino – Dinner With A View

Derrek and I had THE BEST date night at Palomino a few weeks back. It is a wonderful restaurant/bar downtown Cincinnati over looking fountain square. The view was incredible as Jazz Fest had downtown booming with life. When I added to my Instagram stories sharing that we were at Palomino…my DMs blew up! Everyone shared with me their recommendations and how Palomino is their favorite place to dine!

Where have you guys been? Why did no one tell me about Palomino before? Where have I been? I quickly learned I’ve been living under a rock and totally missing out.

We started out with the

It was fabulous. When we ran out of the flatbread crisps I might have just ate the rest of the dip with my spoon? So classy…I know.

We also tried the portabella mushroom soup along with the cauliflower soup. They were both so delicious. Derrek even loved the soup and he would typically run from anything mushroom or cauliflower.

Derrek enjoyed Moscow Mules while I sipped on Lavender Cosomos. They were both so delicious. The Cosomo was most def giving me Carrie Bradshaw vibes.

Their alcohol menu is insane. If you’re looking for a place to go have some top-notch drink downtown…highly recommend!

Derrek was feeling himself and ordered two dinners. I’m glad he did because I got even more food to sample!

My dinner was absolutely amazing. I fell in love with shrimp all over again.

Look how big these things were?

I’m not even being dramatic when I say it was one of the best dinners of my life. The atmosphere, the view, the food…I did not want to leave!

Let me also add that the lighting in this place? *SWOON*

There’s nothing more tragic for a food blogger than terrible lighting…nothing!

I almost cried at how wonderful the photos of my food turned out.

It’s one thing to be a food blogger and have me tell you all about good food…but it’s another when I can deliver pictures that speak louder than me.

I know that the photos of these dishes do just that. HOMERUN!

We shared the PALOMINO CHOCOLATE TIRAMISU for dessert.

It was fabulous. The espresso infused chocolate cake stole my heart.

Check out their website for more information!

I was just on there looking at their happy hour specials and found out they deliver with Uber Eats! As much as the view makes the meal even better…it is nice to know I could order this fabulous food from the comfort of my pajamas.

Palomino is located above the old Tiffany’s store downtown.

So you already know I had to recreate the Breakfast At Tiffany’s scene with my Palomino leftovers.
